This CD-ROM gives students access to information on over 180 universities and colleges. Users select the criteria that match their personal preferences, based on facts and features such as accommodation, costs, environment or location. Using text, graphics, audio and video, the CD-ROM allows students to "see" universities in a library of multimedia prospectuses. It also includes advice on UCAS, the application timetable, grants and loans, and higher education fairs, as well as access to the CRAC/Hobsons database of UK HE institutions, with a print facility. The system requirements are: DOS 5.0 or higher; Windows 3.1, 3.11 or 95; 486, 25Mhz minimum (DX recommended); 8MB RAM; 42MB hard disk space; double-speed CD-ROM drive; 16-bit sound card; and colour monitor (SVGA 640x480, 64,000 colours).
