This yearbook of results, trends and events in the ever-expanding world of tennis includes topics such as the Wimbledon triumph of Michael Stich and the dominance of Monica Seles in the other major championships. This and other central topics to the game are covered in the opening introductory essays. As usual, this book provides this year's accounts and results of all the world's Grand Slam events, the women's International Series, the men's Grand Prix, international team competitions such as the Davis, Federation and Wightman Cups, and the new satellite circuits. The reference section contains biographies of 200 of the top world-ranking men and women players and portraits of the all-time greats as well as the Championship Rolls. This book is designed to provide tennis followers with an anthology and reference book of developments in the game, personalities past and present, and the important matches that have been played in the year 1991-92.
