The programme benefits substantially from having 2 regional directors of the National Literacy Framework as Series Editors and authors. They have developed the theoretical model on which it is based. Both the ICT Guidance and the Non Fiction Flyers distributed to schools in October 2001 have been written by them so the content matches their guidelines perfectly. They have absolutely firsthand knowledge of the market. Supporting their input is a range of experienced non fiction authors who have provided the material for the core texts.
