The 2853 entries reflect also the wide-ranging scope of the AIDS-related psychological and behavioural literature, including research from the fields of neuropsychopharmacology and biological psychiatry, anthropology, applied behaviour analysis, offender therapy and comparative criminology, military medicine, and brain research. Because of the extensive literature that has appeared since the publication of APA's 3rd edition of Volume I of the AIDS bibliography in 1991, all of the material in this bibliography is new. The citations are drawn from journal abstracts, dissertations and book and chapter records published in "Psychological Abstracts" (and its computerised counterparts - "PsycINFO" online and "PsycLIT" on compact disc).
