Diana Roberts Wienbroer (New York, NY) was Chair of the English Department of Nassau Community College for six years and coordinated a department of 150 faculty members. Besides teaching writing over 30 years, she has studied and taught film criticism. She is also the author of The McGraw-Hill Guide to Electronic Research and Documentation. Elaine Hughes (Vicksburg, MS) has taught writing for more than 25 years - primarily at Nassau Community College and Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi. In recent years she has conducted many writing workshops for the Esalen Institute and other organizations. She is also the author of Writing from the Inner Self. Jay Silverman (New York, NY) has taught at Nassau Community College and Virginia Highlands Community College where he received the Honors Program award for Excellence in Teaching. He also teaches in the College Bound Program of the Nassau County Mental Health Association. He has received fellowships from the Fulbright-Hayes Foundation, the Andrew Mellon Foundation and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
