Penny is the author of The Sporting Horse in Southern Africa, a celebration of equestrian pursuits published in 2001. Consultant Bernadette Faurie is one of the world's leading equestrian writers. She was voted journalist of the year for 1997 by the International Trainer's Club, and is a major contributor to the monthly magazines Dressage, Horse & Rider and Show Jumping. She wrote the New Holland title The Horse Riding & Care Handbook.
