"Match of My Life - Manchester United" celebrates the twenty-first anniversary of Alex Ferguson as manager of the club by bringing fifteen of United's greatest stars together to relive some of the most magical moments in the club's history. Great names such as Bryan Robson, Gary Pallister, Martin Buchan, Bill Foulkes, Frank Stapleton, Alex Stepney, David Sadler, Paul Parker & Jack Crompton each reveal the unique and amazing personal stories behind the games of their lives. Among the revealing stories from the Ferguson era are Jesper Blomqvist telling the incredible story of the Reds' late, late comeback to win the Champions League final in 1999, Captain Marvel Bryan Robson rejoicing in the club's first European trophy under Ferguson by defeating Barcelona 1991 in the European Cup Winners' Cup final and Paul Parker reliving the tale of how Fergie's United won the club's first double in 1994. But United's great history is not ignored. Some of the legends of the past also join in the celebration as Jack Crompton discusses one of the greatest FA Cup finals of all time, the 4-2 victory over Blackpool in 1948. Bill Foulkes recalls how the club rebuilt itself after the Munich crash to win the 1963 FA Cup, United's first post-Munich trophy. Arthur Albiston recalls the 1985 FA Cup final, while Alex Stepney remembers lifting the European Cup in 1968 as Matt Busby's team rose from the flames to create an incredible legend. Each player's personal account is full of new revelations and unique insight making "Match of My Life - Manchester United" the definitive book with which fans can relive United's greatest triumphs. The full list of players involved is: Bryan Robson, Gary Pallister, Frank Stapleton, Jimmy Greenhoff, Jesper Blomqvist, Bill Foulkes, Alex Stepney, Martin Buchan, Lee Martin, Jack Crompton, David Sadler, Paul Parker, Arthur Albiston, John Doherty & Alex Dawson.
