He previously has written three critically-acclaimed books on basketball, "High Flyers," "Mahervellous! The Brett Maher Story" and "A Type of Life" his memoir in the sport. During his working life, he has covered Olympic Games and basketball World Championships, with the unique distinction of seeing every team since the launch of the National Basketball League in 1979 and the Women's NBL in 1981.
