Lucinda Dickens Hawksley is a thrice-great granddaughter of Charles Dickens. She has written more than twenty books including Dickens and Travel and A Victorian Treasury. She contributes regularly to the BBC, is a patron of the Charles Dickens Museum, and lives in London, England.
