Readers use the wooden stylus that comes with the book to trace illustrations of adorable baby animals, scratching off the magic ink to reveal rainbow swirls or sparkly foil underneath. Cute Baby Animals contains 20 of these magic scratch-off pages along with 20 regular colouring pages to colour in with crayon, coloured pencil, or marker, as well as 20 pages of games and puzzles such as word searches, word scrambles, and more. In addition to the hours of entertainment provided by these art activities, there is a fun fact for each of the 20 animals featured, so kids and grown-ups alike can learn new information as they have fun. The book includes a wide variety of pets, farm animals, and wild animals, from puppies and kittens to sloths and pandas.
