Autor

Asif A. Siddiqi is a Professor of History at Fordham University in New York. He specializes in the history of science and technology and modern Russian history, having received his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. He has written extensively on a variety of topics related to the history of science and technology, especially on the social and cultural dimensions of the Russian fascination with the cosmos. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is an independent agency of the U.S. federal government responsible for the civil space program, aeronautics research, and space research.
