Aimed at women who are dissatisfied with the way they look, or wish that their looks didn't matter so much to themselves or others. The author discusses the ways in which the quest for beauty controls women's lives, and provides advice on how to escape the tyranny of the beauty imperative.
In Love Your Looks, Carolyn Hillman shows you how to get beyond societal or self-imposed standards and learn to accept - and appreciate - your own special attractiveness.

Love Your Looks will teach you how to develop positive feelings of acceptance and approval of your appearance, so you can feel good about your body and yourself.
