The ninth edition of Langford's Advanced Photography is completely updated to cover the art of photography with the latest improvements in gear and post-processing software and techniques, as well as business strategies for the ever-changing landscape, making it the only advanced photography guide a serious student or aspiring professional will ever need.

This updated edition continues the celebrated tradition of presenting sophisticated technical detail in a straight-forward and easily digested manner- not only detailing the 'how' but also explaining the 'why' that is so often missing from photography texts. From the workings of cameras, lenses, digital imaging sensors and software, to new hot topics*, everything a serious photographer could need to extend their talent into professional realms is covered.

*specifics to be added after authors coordinate with contributors on detailed revision plan
