Katherine Grainger is not only Great Britain's finest ever woman rower, but also she has won more Olympic medals than any other female British athlete in any sport. Sir Steve Redgrave won gold medals in five consecutive Olympic Games. Since retiring from sport, Sir Steve has built a new career involving various commerical and charitable relationships and is well-known for his motivational speaking. He was a founding member of the successful London 2012 bid. He was knighted in 2001.
