DR IAN MORTON is a former Lecturer in Pharmacology at University College London, and Senior Lecturer at King's College London. He is now a consultant editor and writer in pharmacology. DR JUDITH HALL has occupied various postdoctoral positions at King's College, London, and held a Wellcome Trust Medical Research Fellowship at the University of Surrey. She is a former Editor of the British Journal of Pharmacology.Both Dr Morton and Dr Hall have a keen interest in explaining about drugs and how they work to the non-specialist, and since 1988 have worked together both in writing and editing more than a dozen books, as well as numerous encyclopedia entries directed at the general public.
