Beauty is not about age or youth but about feeling and looking the best you possibly can.
Covering both instant and long term tips in skincare, bodycare, haircare and make-up, this book is the first beauty book for women to approach the subject of staying young in an informal, approachable manner, providing sound, reliable, tried and tested advice about ageless beauty.
Each chapter includes a basic guide to a daily regime, with information on targeting specific zones and an anti-ageing workout. Hints and tips from make-up artists and beauty experts to help instil better confidence about the way we look and feel.
Skincare helps to demystify the technology surrounding this area with helpful advice on how to simplify daily skincare regimes and stress on the important issues such as environmental protection, moisture and cleansing. Your Body focuses on a better body regime and postures, looks in detail at problem areas such as backs of arms, stomachs and bottoms, and features an anti-ageing Pliates-based workout. Your Make-up is packed with make-up tricks for day and night, with special attention to problem areas, helpful advice on brushes and equipment and all the information required to make skin appear smoother, younger and brighter. The chapter on haircare examines what happens to hair as we age and features daily care, style and colour advice – including a rejuvenating scalp massage. Finally, Your Heart focuses on self, showing how what is inside affects everything outside, and demonstrating how happiness and good nutrition are instrumental to the way we look and feel.
This book shows how true beauty lies in self-belief, demonstrating that the better you feel about yourself and look after yourself, the more you will radiate pure energy and vitality.
