Morris Rossabi is a historian and professor of China and Central Asia at the City University of New York and Columbia University. He is the author of Herder to Statesman; The Mongols and Global History; Modern Mongolia: From Khans to Commissars to Capitalists; and Khubilai Khan: His Life and Times.
