The Olympic Games 2e Classroom PowerPoint Presentation CD-ROM has been redesigned and fully updated with new graphics and statistics in August 2011, with relevant updates through to 2018. It is ideal for the Olympic Games enthusiast and the current PE and Sport syllabuses, including suitable material for AS/A2 level Social Issues and History modules. Covering the history and development of the Olympic Games, consisting of 15 parts each of between 30-70 slides, key sections include political, commercial and ethical issues. The first presentation begins with the Ancient Greek Games, and brings up the origins and implementation of the first modern Games. Subsequent presentations take you through the Summer and Winter Games in chronological order, covering the issues of the time, some outstanding and important performances including British gold medalists, a summary of results, and of course the development of British interests and performances. The final chapter 15, looks at the history and development of the Paralympic Games. The multi-user licence includes all users within the purchasing institution, and can be used as a VLE download.
