Terry Marsh is a freelance writer and photographer specialising in travel and the outdoors having written, co-authored or edited more than 100 titles over the years. He has maintained a long-standing love affair with the islands of Scotland, first visiting the Isle of Skye more than 55 years ago in a haze of wonder and excitement. He holds an MA (with Distinction) in Lake District Studies and a PhD in Historical Geography, and has acquired a keen interest in the history and culture of Scotland’s islands.
