John Gillard has a long history working in professional soccer from the English Premier League team Brighton & Hove Albion to the Bundesliga's Union Berlin. He has also worked with companies such as Adidas, Copa90, and NSS Sports and has visited stadiums across the world from La Bombonera in Buenos Aires and the Estadio Nacional in Peru to rural England's Dripping Pan. He is a feature writer for No Place Like Home (NPLH) magazine and also the author of Coffee Break Writing, Creative Writers Notebook, and Fiction Writer's Notebook.
