Emma Kemp is a journalist who specialises in sport but whose real love affair is with running. She grew up in regional Australia, has lived in Sydney and London and out of countless suitcases, and now resides in Bowral, Australia, with her partner, dog, two cats and an unjustifiable number of running shoes. When it comes to races, Emma is a notoriously slow starter – like Usain Bolt but without the fast finish. She is living, breathing proof that the elusive runner's high can be attained through consistent shuffling in a forward motion.
