This book seeks to convey the harmonious idea of a region that is full of opportunities for a type of tourism that is rich in stimuli, experiences and culture, specifically through the bond that exists between Andrea Bocelli and Tuscany. The aim of the book is to highlight an image of Tuscany where tourism, apart from the plethora of traditional possibilities, can also offer a variety of experiences and opportunities for learning. Rather than a passive or distracted type of tourism, then, one that is both active and attentive to the distinctive features and spirit of a region that for centuries has provided the world with an image of refined beauty, safeguarded and protected with great care and wisdom. This is a tale of the past and the present, a journey that touches on the entire region and focuses on that which photos cannot express. The text is structured on two levels: the first is a fluid and dense narrative that engages the reader with its fresh and conversational tone; this section is designed to arouse the emotions and aspirations of the reader. On a second level, the voices of famous Tuscans past and present discuss individual themes, places and various other aspects of the region. Their voices help to provide a "Tuscan" atmosphere and encourage lasting impressions and memories. This innovative volume is intended for an international audience, having been translated in several languages and produced using contemporary language and a modern layout. The main goal is to move the audience: to transmit and evoke in the reader a multitude of sensations, in such a way as to fire his or her curiosity. Andrea Bocelli, a discreet but important presence, accompanies the reader with his quotes and images throughout this emotional tour, helping the reader to enjoy the succession of continuous surprises that Tuscany has to offer.
