A la Carte Maps provide a unique approach to traveling by combining guidebook, city map and piece of art in one. The concept is simple: Imagine you had a local friend in London who has written the city's best-kept insider tips on this beautiful hand-drawn map. Want to know what to do on rainy days? Where to find the best streetfood, the weirdest local bars or the cutest gift shops? Would you like to experience things "off the beaten track"? Or are you looking for extraordinary restaurant tips? No matter what you are looking for, with A la Carte Maps, you will know where to find it. A la Carte Maps come in a handy format (42x70cm) and can easily be folded to 10x21cm. All maps are made of high-quality material and are additionally matt-laminated which makes them moisture-resistant and durable. The front page of the map gives an overview of the city while the back page shows enhanced maps of main areas. This map also includes a plan of the local public transportation system, an alphabetical street index as well as a welcome letter covering the most important information about the city (how to get around, prices, local customs, etc.).
All maps are designed by talented young artists trying to capture the spirit of the city, making each map unique in its appearance. Furthermore, 10% of every city map's profit will go into a social project in that city.
