Kostruba Anatoliy is a Ukrainian academic specialising in Eastern European civil law, with a particular focus on company law, contract law and tort law. Anatoliy was born in Simferopol, Ukraine, in 1978. He graduated from the V.I. Vernadsky National University in Crimea in 2000 and was awarded his doctorate in 2004. He was awarded his Dr habil. in 2015 and appointed as a professor of law in 2019.Professor Anatoliy has been employed as a member of the teaching staff at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Ukraine since 2015. He was invited to join the Scientific Council of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. In 2022, he accepted an invitation to join the University of Vilnius in Lithuania, where he has been teaching students who had suspended their studies following Russia's military aggression.Professor Anatoliy assumed the role of visiting professor at the University of Bologna, Italy, and commenced his duties at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France, in 2023.
