Anna Chaussée is a Senior Lecturer in Forensics at the University of Winchester where she directs the University's Cold Case Unit which re-examines cases of unidentified human remains and missing persons. Anna has operational experience in the search and recovery of human remains subjected to clandestine deposition and mass fatality incidents. Anna has provided forensic archaeology and disaster awareness training for several police forces in England. She is an accredited Member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. Anna has conventional archaeological excavation and osteological experience from the UK, USA and Türkiye. Liam Leonard (BA; M. Phil; PhD), researcher and international academic is based at the University of Winchester, UK, and formerly with Arden University, Manchester UK, Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice, Northern Arizona University, US; also formerly with California State University, Los Angeles, US. Previously, Liam has been Chair of the Criminology Association of Ireland and former Members Secretary and President of the Sociological Association of Ireland. Dr. Leonard was the Senior Academic and primary instructor on the award winning Custodial Care Prison Studies Program, which trained approx. 1,000 recruits in a humane approach to prison work for the Irish Prison Service. He is the author/editor of over 25 books and numerous journal articles. Dr. Leonard is the Senior Editor of the Advances in Criminology, Penology & Criminal Justice Book Series with IGI Global.
