Examining the role of the CJEU in shaping the European Union as a Normative power, this book explores the influence of the Court of Justice of the European Union on Normative Power Europe to evaluate the extent to which the CJEU’s actions consolidate normative foreign policy in third states. The book analyses several case studies which present the triangular relations between CJEU rulings, EU institutions, and third countries to identify both direct and indirect signs of a genuine normative effect. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, this book will be of interest to academics and students researching aspects of European law, international law, or international relations.

Yuval Reinfeld is a scholar with a Ph.D. and an esteemed research fellow at Ben Gurion University. He is also a dedicated law lecturer at Harry Radzyner Law School, Reichman University. Dr. Reinfeld's expertise lies in European Union law, with a focus on European technological regulations, standards, and compliance aspects, as well as data protection, privacy and AI. His research delves into the impact of the European Court of Justice and the European law on the global arena. Dr. Reinfeld holds a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Reichman University (IDC), and he furthered his academic journey with a Master of Laws (L.L.M), graduating Cum Laude from Reichman University.
