Lavinia Stan is professor of political science at St. Francis Xavier University in Canada. She is a world recognized expert in transitional justice and post-communist transition, having published widely in these fields. She has also served as an expert for several court cases related to property restitution. Nadya Nedelsky is Professor of International Studies at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She has published on issues of transitional justice, human and minority rights, and ethnic nationalism in Central and Eastern Europe. With Lavinia Stan, she is co-editor of Post-Communist Transitional Justice: Lessons from 25 Years of Experience (Cambridge University Press, 2015).
