Marty also is the author of Elementary Statistics, 14th Edition, Elementary Statistics Using Excel, 7th Edition and Elementary Statistics Using the TI-83/84 Plus Calculator, 5th Edition. He is a coauthor of Biostatistics for the Biological and Health Sciences, 2nd Edition, Statistical Reasoning for Everyday Life, 5th Edition and Business Statistics. Mario designed the original Statdisk statistical software, and he has written several manuals and workbooks for technology supporting statistics education. He has been a speaker at many conferences and colleges. He has worked with attorneys in determining probabilities in paternity lawsuits, analysing data in medical malpractice lawsuits, identifying salary inequities based on gender, and analysing disputed election results. He has also used statistical methods in analysing medical school surveys, analysing survey results for the New York City Transit Authority, and analysing COVID-19 virus data for government officials.
