Bret A. Moore. Ph. D., is a board-certified clinical psychologist in San Antonio, Texas. He is adjunct associate professor in psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and lecturer in clinical psychopharmacology at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, New Jersey. He is a former Army psychologist and captain and 27-month veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is the author and editor of ten books, including Wheels Down: Adjusting to Life after Deployment and Treating PTSD in Military Personnel: A Clinical Handbook. He writes a biweekly column on military mental-health issues titled "Kevlar for the Mind," which is published in the newspapers Army Times, Air Force Times, Marine Corps Times, and Navy Times. His views on issues affecting veterans have been quoted by The New York Times, USA Today, Boston Globe, CBC, BBC, CNN, NPR, and Fox News.
