He has worked as an Associate Professor at this institution, and at the Institute of Haematology and Haemotransfusion and the Institute of Oncology, Bulgaria. His main scientific interest is in the field of 4-hydroxycoumarin derivatives, and he has published more than 70 papers in this field. He is also the author of a number of books.
