Sabrina Cohen-Hatton (Author) Dr Sabrina Cohen-Hatton is a dog-obsessed neuroscientist researching human and animal learning mechanisms. She has won international acclaim for her prize-winning research, which she has presented worldwide and used to change deeply ingrained national policy. She is one of the world's most senior fire officers. She is an Honorary Fellow and Professor at Cardiff University and holds an additional four honorary doctorates in recognition of the impact of her ground-breaking research. She has three Xolos, and her research has extended to explore the neuroscience of dogs. Dogs have been an important part of her life since she adopted a stray dog during a period of homelessness, which provided her only social and emotional connection during that time. A strong advocate for social mobility, she is an ambassador for The Big Issue and for Street Vet, a charity that provides outreach veterinary care to dogs belonging to people experiencing homelessness. She is also working alongside HRH Prince William as an advocate for Homewards, which aims to end homelessness. Within this, she is focusing on the hidden barriers of homelessness and dog ownership to reduce stigma and raise awareness of the role dogs can play in the recovery from homelessness. Her first book, The Heat of the Moment, has been published in three languages, and her second book, The Gender Bias, was published in March 2023. Danny Wells (Author) A well-respected and multi-dimensional dog trainer, Danny specialises in rehabilitating dogs that other trainers have deemed a lost cause and untrainable. He has saved countless dogs' lives, working with both dog and owner to create a harmonious relationship and a greater bond. An established dog sport champion, Danny and his dogs have won titles in UK domestic Protection Dog Trials and have placed in Gun Dog Trials. Danny works closely with dog rescue charities that promise not to put healthy dogs down and successfully rehabilitate dogs with severe behavioural issues so they can go on to live their best lives. Building on his successful legacy, Danny has trained several other highly skilled trainers in the Unleashed methodology. Many of them have also been placed in working dog competitions with Danny's mentorship. Danny is the UK's most direct dog trainer, priding himself on a no-nonsense approach to telling people the truth about dog training in an industry renowned for myths.
