This is a systematic exposition of the quantum theory of measurement within the Hilbert space formulation of quantum mechanics. It includes material on the concepts of unsharp objectification and of non-unitary transformations which are necessary for a description of various investigations.

In this book the authors give within the Hilbert space formulation of quantum mechanics a systematic exposition of the quantum theory of measurement.
