Dr. Rajesh Kumar Verma is working on the post of Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) Kanpur India, (UP Govt. Technical University). He received his Ph.D. (Engineering) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He is a Chartered Engineer by the Institution of Engineers (India). He is actively involved in teaching and research in nanomaterial, polymer composites, modeling, simulation, optimization, advanced machining, and Machinability estimation of composites/nanocomposite materials. Dr. Verma supervised 2 Ph.D. and 13 Master's theses; currently, 8 Ph.D. and 3 Master's are ongoing. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles in refereed international journals and conference proceedings, being cited more than 250 times and featured by an h-index of 9 according to the Google Scholar database. The e-content and courses developed by him are widely used in the Indian university system. He has more than 8 nos. (6 Completed and 2 Ongoing) of Research and development (R&D) projects sponsored by various govt. agencies. He has 3 nos. of filed Indian patents and 03 nos. India copyright registered documents as well. His research proposal secured rank second in Uttar Pradesh- Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) Gomti Nagar, Lucknow in a Hackathon "Beat Plastic Pollution" on 02/10/2018, out of a total of six hundred ninety-nine (699) project entries and received the Best Paper Awards at the PRIME2021 and the ICMPC2021 conferences. He is now serving as a reviewer of various international publishers such as Elsevier, Sage, Springer, etc. Moreover, Dr. Verma has been invited as Keynote/Invited Speaker, Section Chair, and member for several international conferences with themes in Mechanical & Production Engineering, Emerging Materials, and manufacturing science. He has developed various nanomaterials for structural applications and proposed hybrid optimization modules recognized by multiple peer-reviewed journal publishers like Elsevier, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Sage, WSPC, etc.
Devendra Kumar Singh
Devendra Kumar Singh is currently working as a Research cum Teaching fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, India. He is a Life Member of the Asian Polymer Association. His research interests focus on nanomaterial synthesis and development, Bio nanocomposites, numerical modeling, and surface texturing. He has published over 9 peer-reviewed articles in refereed international journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, He has filed 1 no. of design patents and has 1 India copyright registered document. He has also utilized various nanomaterial-reinforced bio nanocomposites for biomedical applications and developed hybrid metaheuristic optimizing methodologies recognized by multiple peer-reviewed journals and book publishers like Elsevier, Springer, AIP, etc.
Prof. J. Paulo Davim
J. Paulo Davim is a Full Professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is also distinguished as honorary professor in several universities/colleges/institutes in China, India and Spain. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997, M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (materials and manufacturing processes) in 1991, Mechanical Engineering degree (5 years) in 1986, from the University of Porto (FEUP), the Aggregate title (Full Habilitation) from the University of Coimbra in 2005 and the D.Sc. (Higher Doctorate) from London Metropolitan University in 2013. He is Senior Chartered Engineer by the Portuguese Institution of Engineers with an MBA and Specialist titles in Engineering and Industrial Management as well as in Metrology.
