The Influence of Phase Separation on Structure and Electronic Transport in Solid-State Physics
Cambridge Scholars Publishing (Verlag)
978-1-4438-5723-9 (ISBN)
Dr. Joachim Sonntag is a retired physicist. He studied physics at the Technical University of Dresden. From 1972 until 1989 he worked at the IFW Dresden (formerly the Zentralinstitut für Festkörperphysik und Materialforschung), specializing in electron structure in metallic alloys. He then moved to Dortmund and worked for HL-Planartechnik GmbH as a developer for temperature and radiation sensors. He specializes in radiation physics, multi-phase alloys and nanomaterials. His most important scientific works related to the subject of this book are: Disordered electronic systems: I. concentration dependence of the dc conductivity in amorphous transition-metal - metalloid alloys (metallic regime), Disordered electronic systems. II. Phase separation and the metal-insulator transition in metal-metalloid alloys, Disordered electronic systems. III. Thermoelectric power in alloys with phase separation, Composites to Produce a Material with Zero Absolute Thermopower S = 0 or a Thermopower Switch between S = 0 and S ≠ 0.
