Dr. Wei Yan is currently a full professor at Fuzhou University, School of Materials Science & Engineering, Institute for New Energy Materials and Engineering. Dr. Yan’s research now focuses on the materials and devices for electrochemical energy storage and conversion application, including electrocatalysts, alkali metal batteries, lead-acid batteries and supercapacitors. Dr. Xifei Li is currently a full professor at Xi’an University of Technology. He was awarded as 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 Highly Cited Researchers of Clarivate Analytics. He is an executive editor-in chief of Electrochemical Energy Reviews, a vice-president of International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science, and a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry. Dr. Li’s research group is currently working on optimized interfaces of the anodes and the cathodes with various structures for high performance rechargeable batteries. Dr. Li has authored/co-authored 310 peer-reviewed articles with 16400 citations with H index of 68. Dr. Shuhui Sun is a Full Professor at the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS), Center for Energy, Materials, and Telecommunications (Canada). He is a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, a member of Global Young Academy, Vice President of the International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science (IAOEES). He serves as the Executive Editor-in-Chief of Electrochemical Energy Reviews. Dr. Sun’s research focuses on Nanomaterials for Energy Conversion and Storage applications, including H2 fuel cells, green hydrogen, lithium batteries, Zn-air batteries, and metal-ion batteries. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed journal articles with citations of over 14,000 times and an H index of 63. He has edited 3 books and 15 book chapters. Dr. Xueliang Sun is a Canada Research Chair in Development of Nanomaterials for Clean Energy, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and Canadian Academy of Engineering and Full Professor at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Dr. Sun received his Ph.D. in materials chemistry in 1999 from the University of Manchester, UK, which he followed up by working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and as a Research Associate at L’Institut National de la Recherche Scientifque (INRS), Canada. His current research interests are focused on advanced materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion, including electrocatalysis in fuel cells and electrodes in lithium-ion batteries and metal-air battery. Dr. Jiujun Zhang is a Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering/Institute for New Energy Materials and Engineering at Fuzhou University, a former Principal Research Officer (Emeritus) at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). Dr Zhang received his B.S. and M.Sc. in Electrochemistry from Peking University in 1982 and 1985, respectively, and his PhD in Electrochemistry from Wuhan University in 1988. Dr Zhang serves as Editor-in-Chief of Electrochemical Energy Reviews (Springer Nature) and Associate Editor of Green Energy & Environment (KeAi), and Editorial Board Member for several international journals as well as Editor for book series of Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion (CRC). Dr Zhang’s expertise areas are electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, fuel cells, batteries, supercapacitors, water/CO2 electrolysis.
