Maciej Sokolowski is a Doctor of Law (PhD, summa cum laude), currently Visiting Researcher at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Public Policy and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration, the University of Warsaw. He is an expert in the field of energy law, economy, and energy sector. He is the author of Regulation in the European Electricity Sector (Abingdon, Oxon; New York, NY: Routledge, 2016) and European Law on Combined Heat and Power (Abingdon, Oxon; New York, NY: Routledge, 2020) and has published more than 70 papers and reports on renewable and conventional energy, administrative, energy, environmental, and nuclear law.
