Mehwish Iqbal has acquired her bachelor’s degree in Eastern medicine and surgery from Hamdard University in 2015 and the degree of masters in health and pharmaceutical management from Dow University of health sciences, Karachi, Pakistan. Mehwish is a registered CAM physician and has diverse experience working as a medical content writer, general physician of CAM, product development and research advisor of the phytopharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry. She has had the experience of working in various hospitals and pharmaceutical industries since 2015. She has researched, reviewed, and written multiple monographs, conference reports, contents about pharmaceutical products (including herbal, nutritional, OTC, and cosmetic products), health articles, and monthly reviews for national and international publishers. She has already been the reviewer of several research and review papers and has developed numerous natural products in the pharmaceutical industry. She has the vast experience of managing patients with complementary and alternative medicines, especially with cupping therapy. She is now working as a licensed Doctor of CAM with a speciality in Greco-Arabic (Unani) medicine in one of the renowned health care facilities in UAE while providing consultation regarding product development to the phytopharmaceutical industries.
