Energy Conversion and Green Energy Storage presents recent developments in renewable energy conversion and green energy storage. Covering technical expansions in renewable energy and applications, energy storage, and solar photovoltaics, the book features chapters written by global experts in the field.

Providing insights related to various forms of renewable energy, the book discusses developments in solar photovoltaic applications. The book also includes simulation codes and programs, such as Wien2k code, VASP code, and MATLAB®.

The book serves as a useful reference for researchers, graduate students, and engineers in the field of energy.

Dr. Amit Soni graduated from SRTMU, Maharashtra in Electrical (Electronics & Power) Engineering, in 2001, and he was awarded ‘Gold Medal’ for his outstanding academic performance. He received his MTech (Power System) in 2005 and PhD (Power System) in 2012, both from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. Dr. Soni joined Manipal University Jaipur in 2014, and he has been the Director (Quality & Compliance) since 2020. He has 19 years of experience working with various institutions, which includes three years of industrial experience in RRVPNL, Jaipur. He has published 6 book chapters and 60 research papers in SCI indexed International Journals and Scopus indexed conferences. He has delivered several Invited Talks, Keynote addresses, and is regular reviewer of research articles for many high impact journals. He has successfully supervised three PhDs and currently four research scholars are working under his supervision. He is currently working as PI for DST SERB funded research project in collaboration with MLSU, Udaipur and NIT, Uttarakhand. He is life member of Solar Energy Society of India, Member ISTE, India and IEEE, USA. Dr. Dharmendra Tripathi is an Associate Professor in Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand. Prior to joining NIT Uttarakhand, he worked more than 10 years as faculty member (Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) in various reputed institutions, such as Manipal University Jaipur, NIT Delhi, IIT Ropar and BITS Pilani Hyderabad. He completed his PhD in Applied Mathematics (Mathematical Modelling of Physiological flows) in 2009 from Indian Institute of Technology BHU and MSc in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University. He has supervised four PhD students and four PhD students are currently working under his supervision. He has also guided 20 B.Tech projects. He has published more than 130 papers in reputed international journals, five book chapters, and presented more than 30 papers in International and National Conferences. He has been recognized by the Head of Institution for excellent work and contribution for the NIT Uttarakhand. He is a time member of various professional bodies, member of editorial board of two journals, and reviewer of more than 50 International Journals and reviewed more than 100 articles. His research work is focused on the mathematical modelling and simulation of biological flows in deformable domains, Peristaltic flow of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, microfluidics; CFD, Biomechanics; numerical methods, and biomechanics. Dr. Jagrati Sahariya has been working in the field of γ-ray scattering and band structure calculations for the last 10 years. She received her Ph.D. degree in 2012 in the field of electronic structure calculation and Compton scattering. As a part of her Ph.D. thesis, she studied electronic and magnetic properties of a variety of technological important materials. Dr. Sahariya has sufficient expertise in using different band structure methods, such as full potential linearized augmented plane wave, linear combinations of atomic orbitals, and spin polarized relativistic Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker to compute electronic structure, optical, and magnetic properties and Compton profiles of variety of materials. She has published more than 70 papers in peer reviewed international journals of high impact factor and repute conferences both at national and international level. She has also executed a research project funded by SERB under Fast Track Scheme. Dr. Kamal Nayan Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Amity University Haryana, Manesar, Gurugram. Prior joining to Amity University, he was an Assistant Professor at Vivekanand Global University Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. After receiving his Ph.D. from IIT, Delhi, he executed a project funded by SERB, New Delhi, India, at MNIT Jaipur as a Principal Investigator. He has published 26 papers in International journals of high impact factors, such as Nanoscale, Organometallics, Chemical Communications, Dalton Transaction, Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry, Tetrahedron Letters, etc. Dr. Sharma has visited University of Cape Town, Cape Town for research work sponsored by the Indo-South African Research project. He has served as reviewer in various international journals also. He is currently guiding a student for her Ph.D., and he has guided several masters’ students for their project work.
