Jiajun Wang obtained his doctorate from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2008. He is currently a professor at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), one of the Thousand Youth Talents in China. Prior to joining HIT, he was a synchrotron beamline scientist at the National Synchrotron Light Source, Brookhaven National Laboratory and then Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory to develop in situ/in operando synchrotron X-ray imaging techniques for energy material research. He has published over 80 papers with over 8000 citations. His research activities include synchrotron X-ray technologies, phase transition, electrochemistry, engineering materials, nanoparticles and nanocomposites, energy storage and conversion materials.
