This book provides the first presentation of the state-of-the-art in the application of modern Neuroscience research in predicting, preventing and alleviating the negative sequelae of neurodevelopmental, acquired, or neurodegenerative brain abnormalities on speech and language. Georgios P.D. Argyropoulos holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. He is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol). He currently works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford.
