Dr. Ratan Priya has specialized experience in land degradation studies in India, and holds a postgraduate degree from the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Gorakhpur University and an M.phil [2014] and a Ph.D. degree [2019] from the Center for the Study of Regional Development (CSRD) at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Dr. Priya has published several research papers on land degradation studies and agricultural studies with a special focus on India.
