Abderrahim Solhy received his PhD in materials chemistry and heterogeneous catalysis in 2004 from the University of Hassan II Mohammedia and in collaboration with Universidad of Zaragoza, Spain. In June 2019 he defended his HDR-thesis at Université de Monpellier in France. In 2009 he joined MAScIR Foundation at Rabat i Morocco as project-leader (principal investigator). Between 2014 and 2017, he was Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. Since 2018, he has been a visiting researcher at INRA (France). He is Laureate of the third edition of the Grand Prize for Invention and Research in Science and Technology in 2010. His current research interests include synthesis of materials and nanomaterials for catalysis/Photocatalysis, and biomass upgrading, fields in which with co-workers he has published over 80 papers and 4 patents. Bilal Essaid, is research director at Chemical process engineering centre of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne. He has published 220 scientific articles in international journals; 230 communications in congresses and 66 reports of industrial projects. He is a member of editorial board of 4 peer-reviewed internationals journals and reviews papers for more than 40 international journals.
