Jian Wang obtained his Ph.D in Physics from Peking University in June 2013. Then he joined Professor Matthias Neubert’s group in Mainz, Germany as a postdoctoral fellow. His research interests are application of soft collinear effective theory (SCET) on the processes at the LHC and search for new physics beyond the Standard Model. During his PhD program, he has published 16 journal articles in total, including 1 Phys. Rev. Lett, 11 Phys. Rev. D, 3 JHEP and 1 EPJC. He received the National Scholarship for Doctoral Student in 2012, and Outstanding Graduates Awards in 2013. More details can be found in the attachment.
