Filipa Alves da Costa is Associate Professor at Instituto Universitário Egas Moniz (IUEM) and Assistant Invited Professor at Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa (FFUL). Apart from teaching and researching in pharmacy practice, Filipa works as a researcher for the National Oncology Register focusing on effectiveness evaluation, and as a Consultant for the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society, where she is responsible for professional strategic planning. She obtained her MSc in Pharmaceutical Care (FFUL) and her Ph.D. in Pharmacy Practice and Policy (University College of London). Dr. Alves da Costa has been president of Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe and is a member on the editorial board of the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy. Dr. J.W.Foppe van Mil is community pharmacist, community pharmacy consultant, and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy. He is also founding member and professional secretary of the Pharmaceutical CareNetwork Europe (PCNE). After obtaining his Pharm D in 1977 he was owner and manager of a large pharmacy in the Netherlands, and became active in the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP), of which he became a Fellow in 2016. During his work for his PhD, which he obtained in 2000 at the Groningen University, he increasingly became involved in pharmaceutical care implementation and research. In the same period he also was involved in the continuing education around pharmaceutical care for community pharmacists at the annual Congresses of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). In 2017 he became honorary member of the PCNE. Aldo Alvarez-Risco is a full-time researcher at the Universidad de San Martín de Porres in Perú. He is also a pharmacist, Doctor in Pharmacy and Biochemistry and Master in Pharmacology at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and Master Pharmaceutical Care at Universidad de Granada. He is the coordinator of the South American Network of Pharmaceutical Care (REDSAF). He has participated in various pharmacy practice and pharmacy policy research units and has presented various sessions at the annual FIP Congresses. He has been speaker at Pharma events in 20 countries. He has experience as a speaker for radio and TV appearances.
