Born in South Tyrol in 1944, Reinhold Messner has broken boundary after boundary as a rock-climber, expedition mountaineer, pole & desert crosser. Reinhold Messner is also fascinated by human nature and how it unfolds when people are exposed to the elements and pushed to the very limits of their resources.
