Karen Timberlake is a professor emeritus at Los Angeles Valley College and is a well-known and successful author. She taught GOB chemistry at LAVC and preparatory chemistry for several years at UCLA. Bill Timberlake is also a professor emeritus at Los Angeles Harbor College where he taught preparatory and organic chemistry for 36 years.
