Analytical Separation Science
Filling a gap for a research-level guide for separation scientists working with and developing the latest methods, this handbook comprises five topical volumes, providing a comprehensive overview of the subject area.
Fundamentals, method development and high-end applications are discussed for all major analytical separation techniques, including chromatographic, electromigration and membrane techniques.
With its broad scope and emphasis on future developments, this is a must-have reference for researchers in the field, as well as a valuable resource for graduate and post-graduate students.
Jared L. Anderson is a Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. He obtained his B.S. degree at South Dakota State University in 2000 and his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry at Iowa State University in 2005. He was awarded the "Emerging Leader in Chromatography Award" in 2010 by LCGC North America. In 2012, he was awarded the "Young Investigator in Separation Science Award" given by the American Chemical Society.
Alain Berthod graduated from University of Lyon in Villeurbanne, France. He took a research position at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), where he became Research Director. He is the editor of Separation & Purification Reviews and has authored three books and over 200 articles and book chapters.
Verónica Pino is a Professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of La Laguna (ULL), Canary Islands. She gained a Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry in 2002 from ULL, with Doctorate Extraordinary Award and Special Mention for Young Canary Researchers from the Canary Government. She has conducted several research stays during her career, including Wake Forest University, Iowa State University, The University of Toledo, and University Claude Bernard. She is also an editorial board member of Journal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry.
Apryll Stalcup is Professor for Analytical Chemistry at Dublin City University's School of Chemical Sciences in Dublin, Ireland, where she heads the Irish Separation Science Cluster. A graduate from Georgetown University, she held professorships at the University of Hawaii and the University of Cincinnati before moving to Dublin in 2012.
