The contributions in this volume discuss the magneticstructures in the outer atmospheres of active late-typestars, and in particular the various methods available forimaging surface features on these objects. Emphasis has beenlaid upon multiwavelength studies of the phenomena and theapplication of solar astrophysics to stellar objects. The book is recommended to research workers or postgraduatestudents in stellar astrophysics.

For the first time the various methods available for imaging surface structures of active late-type stars are presented. The book addresses astrophysicists and graduate students in astronomy.
