The three of us have differing viewpoints of the Belt basin, and each will present his own ideas. We hope the ensuing discussion will stimulate response from guest participants, whose combined experiences in these kinds of rocks probably exceed ours. We encourage participants to comment and to contribute to further understanding these curious rocks.
