Sunday Paul Bako is professor of Botany at the Department of Biological Sciences at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (Nigeria). His research interests focus on the areas of plant ecological physiology, environmental botany and ethnobotany. Frank Olwari is a research associate at the Department of Crop Science at Makerere University (Uganda). His research interests include neglected and under-utilized pulse legume and groundnut crops, their traditional storage, processing, and preservation methods.
